Here’s the highlights of what I experienced before the new year starts! I did my first burnout to start off (sorry winter tires).
Drove a go kart for the first time. Also did the Jalopnik karting event, and promptly crashed and get a red flag on my last balsy run lol.
Moved a Delorean, and this was one hero that left me unimpressed.
This needs no explaining. It will always be beyond awesomesauce.
Unexpectedly spent a night with two 911Rs, that was a win if I ever had one.
Celebrated Mustang Day.
Said goodbye to my 944
And got my 924 Turbo.
The first Michigan Oppo + Reidus & Cletus Meet happened.
Got my first engineering internship, went to California and had an amazing time seeing all the sights, food, and cars I could for two weeks.
This 911 Turbo was Gulfed up and awesome!
The SLC Superlite is a kit car with a BMW V10, amazing.
I met my 90s Italian Dream Car.
Drove this base model 4-Series many times and it’s actually kinda fun without a manual.
Had my first track day, and learned what my car was truly capable of in experienced hands; especially against a Camaro SS and Focus RS.
More Reidus & Cletus shenanigans (we do those things).
Mum got a new Explorer.
My Mustang had a near-Ecoboom with a bad head gasket. I got a new cylinder head under warranty, and this Escape as a rental for a week. As good as it looked, with the smallest engine, this car was not fun.
Did a photoshoot with a GT350.
And went on a fun as hell run with cars that cost many Mustangs. This year had ups and downs, but it sure had some kickass moments.
We all survived 2017, so hopefully we’ll survive 2018 too.
